ID Document Classifier, OCR and Facial Recognition
If you have the A+ or the Enterprise plan, you can enable ID Document Classifier, Optical Character Recognition and Facial Recognition. What does that mean? We can break down it for you below.
ID Document Classifier
Sometimes, cardholders will upload another ID Card photo where their Government Issued ID is needed. With ID Document Classifier enabled, HelperBot will notify the cardholder if the Government ID submission doesn't look quite right. They'll be given the opportunity to review their submission and try again.
As you can see, all of the text from the Government ID has been transcribed due to the "ID Document Classifier" feature.
Optical Character Recognition
This feature will compare the fields in RemotePhoto with the information found on the Government Issued ID.
As you can see, the "Full Name" field is confirmed on the Government ID, as indicated by the green check mark next to the custom field on the left.
Facial Recognition
When this feature is turned on, HelperBot compares the ID photo submission with the photo that is on the Government Issued ID. The cardholder will not be aware that this is happening, but when the photo makes its way to the Pending Photo queue, you'll be able to see how HelperBot has classified that Government Issued ID.
As you can see, the facial recognition software gave the two faces a 94% similarity rating.
Helper Bot is able to auto-approve photos when facial recognition is turned on.
Please watch the video from our team on how these features can help enhance your online photo submission process.
Quick note: If you would like to enable these features, please email support@cloudcard.us and we will turn these on for you!
