HelperBot Explainability in Action for the User

HelperBot explainability aims to make the system's decision-making process transparent and understandable for users and administrators. This concept is crucial in AI applications, particularly when the system makes automated decisions that impact users.

RemotePhoto wants to give cardholders and card offices a fantastic experience. We recognize that card offices waste a lot of time cropping, rotating, and processing photos. RemotePhoto uses artificial intelligence to solve many of these problems. Meet the RemotePhoto Butler (RPB), RemotePhoto's AI! The Photo Butler is a series of machine learning algorithms that have been trained on tens of thousands of photos to identify a quality ID photo. These algorithms help card office directors stop worrying about photos and return to more pressing projects.

RemotePhoto uses AI to offer real-time feedback to the individual submitting their photo.

	The User is given a brief, bulleted list of photo guidelines. These guidelines have been determined by the organization's card office (with the help of CloudCard). The User is prompted to align themselves inside the photo overlay, and snap their selfie-style picture to be submitted for their ID photo.
	The Photo Butler (RPB) has been designed to remove the background, center the photo, and even crop the photo when necessary. RPB will also analyze the submitted photo to decide whether it should be approved or denied as an ID photo. If the photo is denied, RPB will explain exactly why the photo is not accepted as an ID photo. The photo is recorded, but it is not approvable, so the user is not allowed to use it as their ID photo. They are prompted to upload a different photo.
	The user submits another photo (left), that again needs correction. RPB performs the same functions, and provides real-time feedback on this photo. The user is prompted to change their photo.
	Here, the user submitted a compliant photo — it looks like third time really is the charm for this guy.
