HelperBot Explainability in Action for the User

HelperBot explainability is about making the system's decision-making process transparent and understandable for users and administrators. This concept is crucial in AI applications, particularly when the system makes automated decisions that impact users.

RemotePhoto wants to give cardholders and card offices a fantastic experience. We recognized that card offices waste a lot of time cropping, rotating, and processing photos. We have introduced artificial intelligence to RemotePhoto in order to solve a lot of these problems. Meet HelperBot! HelperBot is a series of machine learning algorithms that have been trained with tens of thousands of photos to identify a quality ID photo. These algorithms help card office directors stop worrying about photos and get back to more pressing projects.

In RemotePhoto we use AI to offer real-time feedback to the individual submitting their photo.

	The User is given brief bulleted tips on what the Organization's Card Office (with the assistance of CloudCard) has decided will make for a good ID photo. The User is prompted to line up relative to the outline overlay, and snap their selfie-style picture to be submitted for their ID photo.
	Our HelperBot can do multiple functions. HelperBot has been designed to remove the background, center the photo, and even crop the photo when necessary. HelperBot will also read the submitted photo and explain exactly why this photo is not going to be accepted by the Organization they are submitting the photo to. This photo is recorded, but is not approvable, so the User is not allowed to submit this as their ID photo. They are prompted to change their photo.
	In this case the User submits another photo, equally in need of correct, but for different reason. HelperBot performs the same functions, and provides real-time feedback on this photo. Again the user is prompted to change their photo.
	It looks like third time is really the charm for this guy.
