Instant Photo Feedback

*This a deprecated feature*

RemotePhoto does its best to make online photo submission easy for you and your cardholders. One way we do that is by sending automated instant photo feedback emails after a cardholder submits a photo.

Once RemotePhoto Butler (RPB) has finished Photo Classification, he will send feedback to the cardholder, letting them know if he thinks the photo will be approved or denied. He gives instant photo feedback based on the confidence score of the photo (more on that topic in the articles linked above). RPB delivers the feedback through email.

The Photo Butler will give the cardholder three potential messages, depending on how the submitted photo is classified. The next section of this article details the different types of photo feedback.

1. RemotePhoto Butler thinks the photo will be approved (green)

The email response below occurs when RPB has classified the photo as green.

Notice that RPB allows the cardholder to change their photo through the "Edit your Photo" link if they submitted a photo they did not like. However, once the photo has been downloaded for printing, the link in that email will be disabled.

2. RemotePhoto Butler is not sure (yellow)

This email response occurs when a photo receives a yellow classification.

If the photo is denied by the staff member, RemotePhoto Butler will notify the cardholder and provide them with another link to upload a new photo.

3. RemotePhoto Butler thinks the photo will be denied (red)

The cardholder receives this email if RPB categorizes a photo as red.

This cardholder is shown their current photo, with a link to upload a new photo. They are also shown an example photo and the requirements to hopefully get them on the right track!
